What is Breweriana?
Breweriana is the term used for memorabilia and collectibles related to the beer and brewing industry. It encompasses a wide range of beer-related items and artifacts but is especially applicable to packaging and advertising.
Breweriana includes but is not limited to cans, bottles, bottle caps, signs (of all kinds and materials), serving trays, openers, coasters, tap knobs, labels, drinkware, and wearables. The term “breweriana” was first coined by noted author and collector Will Anderson, in his 1969 book, “Beers, Breweries & Breweriana.”
